Mint and Reveal Explained

Staggered Mint

We have decided that we are going to do a Staggered Mint. We have decided this as it gives us time to hype up the project between each batch sold. We can release more game footage, and have more reviews back from people about the game as we ramp up our Marketing reach over the weeks.

There will still be 10,000 available Misfits, we will release them in batches every 2 weeks following from the 23rd April 2022.

The first batch of Misfits sold on the 23rd will be named First Contact, we are limiting this to 500 wallet addresses (so maximum 1,500 Misfits) and will be open for 1 week (23rd April — 30th April).
We wanted to reward the first people into Misfits so we decided that First Contact Misfits will have a bonus of a 5% reduction in price for Breeding and Teleporting. This is a massive incentive as each Creature you Teleport is a NFT you can sell, plus when we release Breeding you will be able to produce new characters for the game cheaper than everyone else.
This will hold to the Misfit forever, if this Misfit is sold, it will still have the reduction in price, it doesn’t retain with the buyer, it retains with the Misfit.

We will then have a raffle system that will be open for 1 week from 30th April — 7th May. On the 7th May you will see if you’ve won a Raffle. Those that have won a Raffle have 48 hours to Mint. If you don’t Mint, the NFTs will go back into the Raffle and we will run it again until that batch is sold out.

Each batch will have a total of 500 Wallet addresses allowed to Mint, with each Wallet being able to Mint 3 Misfits. So a total of 1,500 Misfits will be availabe per batch.

We will continue this process every 2 weeks until we sell out all 10,000 NFTs.

Timeline

23rd April (7pm EST): Public Sale starts for Landing Party (ends 30th April)
30th April: Raffle Opens for Round 2 (ends 7th May)
7th May: Raffle Winners have 48 hours to Mint
7th May: Raffle Opens for Round 3 (ends 21st May)
21st May: Raffle Winners have 48 hours to Mint
21st May: Raffle Opens for Round 4 (ends 4th June)

Reveal

As we have 500+ traits, the logic tree was getting so complicated and there were so many combinations that just needed slight adjustments to work but if left they wouldn’t work thus would have to be eliminated. I didn’t want to limit the possibilities of combinations because they looked too good together, soooooo I came up with a way to keep all posibile combinations and still keep the reveal a mystery.

This is what we came up with.
From Mint, you will receive your PreReveal Image, like normal. When we are ready for Reveal, 2 weeks after Mint date (so reveal will be on 7th May 2022) or 48 hours after Sell Out, you will receive your MetaData but not the final image. The image is going to be generated then sent to me (Kunyeti) for approval. As you already have the MetaData of your Misfit, there is no way that we can change the combination or rarity of your Misfit, all I can do is fix the image if neccessary.
Once an image is approved by me, your final image will then be able to be revealed.

TLDR;
Mint > Prereveal Image > Prereveal Image with Misfit MetaData Revealed> Misfit Image sent to Kunyeti for approval — either approves or fixes then approves > Misfit with matched MetaData Final Reveal
